OMG – I had some super weird dreams last night about clowns being after me. Not just any clowns – but the clowns off the Barnum’s animal crackers box. I don’t even know if there are clowns on the box – but in my dream there were. I hate clowns. Creepy. But I like animal crackers.

I think I forgot to tell y’all how great bible study was last night. It was really fun – and even though we talked about something that we talk about all the time – Worry – I still think it is something that I need to hear again and again in order to keep my head on straight about how I shouldn’t worry about the little things and should live from day to day and not flip out about the future.
My shoulders hurt a lot. A lot a lot. But it is a beautiful day and it is suppose to be fairly warm – so I’m going to go run outside later – which I think will help me work out some of my soreness. Look at me – being healthy and stuff.
Susan Elizabeth sent me some awesome links to articles about thefacebook – and I thought y’all might like them: here, here, here, here, here, and here. Suz is so cute and knows how much I love the facebook. I mean, there is no reason to read all of them I guess – but it is interesting. Some of the facts I was interested in and found rather impressive:
80-90% of college students are on the facebook
5 million college students overall
75% of students on the facebook check their profile once a day
the average student checks their profile 6 times a day.
Also – I loved this article – via Sherry – about how to find a job you love. It is a long article – but one I really enjoyed. I also really love Sherry’s blog – I have been reading it for a couple of years and it is consistent and thoughtful and always enjoyable.
Class is almost over! Then my weekend begins! I love my life!! It is such a beautiful day!
Oh Yeah –

This morning, I was running late (as usual), it was kind of rainy, and really dark, and I just wasn’t feeling it. I needed some inspiration.
BUT – never fear – the DJs at magic 102.1 knew exactly what I needed. I needed to hear Man in Motion – and remember that St. Elmo’s Fire is burning in me – the theme song for all of us who don’t know what to do with our lives, our terminal crushes, our bitching wife and child, our dying stepmonsters, our cheating boyfriends who want to marry us and get us pregnant, our political careers, and our raging cocaine habit in the first few years out of college.
So, I called Jennifer, and as luck would have it she was already at work – which I saw as a sign from God that it was going to be a good day – and I turned up my car stereo quite loud – and let her share that special moment moment with me –
"
I can see a new horizon underneath the blazin’ sky
I’ll be where the eagle’s flying higher and higher
Gonna be your man in motion, all I need is a pair of wheels
Take me where my future’s lyin’, St. Elmo’s Fire
I can climb the highest mountain, cross the wildest sea
I can feel St. Elmo’s Fire burnin’ in me, burnin’ in me
Just once in his life – a man has his time
and my time is now!, I’m coming a – live!"

If you love Salt and Fresh Ground Pepper
Krinkle Cut Kettle Chips.
Seriously, I haven’t seen many comments lately,
I need everyone who has ever eaten these chips
before and loves them to comment. Please.
I’m watching tv by myself and I get lonely.
If I choked on one of these no one would be
here to save me. So at least leave me a comment.
Yawn

It is unacceptably cold out today. I want to be at home in the bed, under the covers.
I’ve been in a rather antisocial mood this morning, I went to the main library and read a novel after my first class. The inclination to read novels all day long has an antisocial quality to it, but it happens sometimes.
Does anyone know what the Blue Book Express* is for? Will someone please tell me? Can I drive it downtown? It says it is for Law Dawgs. I’m a law dawg. (well, I think that is what it says, whatever it says led me to believe that it might be for my own personal use). I’m a 3L. I’m responsible. I haven’t have a traffic altercation in forever. Seriously.
*The shiny new golf cart that is parked outside the front door to the law school.
It wasn’t a Bomb, it was Breakfast

Compliments of Stancil:
Okay, this article in the Red and Black took me back to my days at the Academy of Richmond County, where bomb threats were a regular occurance.
My favorite part:
The package was sitting in the empty dispenser with a note that “had negative remarks about the government,” Williamson said.
So, yeah, they evacuated the entire student learning center.
Commitment Phobia

Allison: "Wanna go get our drivers license report next thursday?"
Christy: "I don’t know if I can commit to something that far in advance, I was having a hard time commiting to tomorrow."
Allison: "Do you think we have commitment issues?"
Christy: "Hmmm…..I don’t know. I can’t decide."
Shiny things that fascinate me

Rims.
Especially on cars like this –
But, what really fascinates me is spinners. Honestly, I can’t drive when I see spinners. I am hynotized. Seriously. I LOVE THEM. Seeing shiny spinners, especially on a car that is completly filty except for the spinners – will make my entire week. You can’t see them spin in pictures, but, regardlesss –
