I received this email today – thought I would share…..

While usually amongst my many sources of procrastination while in the good ol’ library, "the thin line between optimism and delusion" has been noticeably absent from my daily regimen of web surfing.

Each day I check livejournal.com, hopeful for a new glimpse into the life that is Charlsie, but nary a post in days.

I’m deeply saddened by this. It is both hurtful and detrimental to my procrastination abilities. There are only so many things to read in anticipation of the minute I actually have to do my work.

I miss the days when you cared more about others and less about yourself. Hopefully you can turn this tragic event into a learning experience…an introspective view about why you choose not to write in your journal.

Until then, I wish you the best in your eternal quest for happiness that many wish to call life, as I join the masses in hopes for a better tomorrow filled with joy and journal posts.

Things that I currently can’t live without and love

1. I love my new gmail account. It is awesome. I love gmail notifier – not only does it notify me when I have new mail, it gives me a blurb, and it notifies me each time I have a new message – but it is only for a second and can be easily ignored. Much better than outlook express. UGA wireless network won’t let me use outlook any more because of viruses – and gmail came at just the right time.

2. I love vending machines. For all reasons imaginable.

I love reading other blogs.  Especially blogs of attorneys and law students.  Evan has an excellent blog and is very helpful.  I posted a comment asking him a question about the practice of law and the careers available with a law degree and he was sweet enough to give a long, useful post to the question.  If you want to read about it, here is the link:  Weekly Report #40: A question from a reader.   Also check out the rest of Notes from the (Legal) Underground, it is really interesting.  My favorite post is this one: Advice to Families of Lawyers #1.  One of the funniest things I have read in a while.

My friend from home who I grew up with, Andy Allen, has recently joined the peace corp. Andy is in Morocco and will be there for 2 years.
