Saturday I went to one of the most fun football games I have ever been to in my life. It was more fun than I can express. I had a good feeling about the game, I really thought that we were going to pull through and win, but I never thought that we would stomp LSU into the ground. I did feel bad for the lone LSU fan that was sitting behind me, but then again, I have been there. I admired this LSU fan because he didn’t leave. He stayed with his team, even when his team was losing. I don’t like fair-weather fans. But this was all just a fleeting though, since I had too much to think about – reveling in the fact that our offense was finally clicking and that our defense is still awesome!! This is going to be a fun fall and I am excited. Oh, and Thomas Davis is my hero.
Yay! That was a good game… and I had a feeling we would pull it out too. I just hope/wish/pray/implicitly demand that the team doesn’t let it get to them… Tennesee is coming up!
Sad I didn’t enjoy the wonderfulness of the game w/ ya… perhaps another time (assuming you’re in my cool section or nearby)…111
Yes…we are inching ever closer to the inevitable Virginia/Georgia championship game. And then through clever ruses, each one more clever than the last, I will make sure you are not in attendance, because last time you went to a VA/GA bowl game, I think the Dawgs won by 30 or something.
both times I went to to Ga/Va bowl game, Ga. won by a whole lot! Hold your breath on this one darling.
Hey now…I remember the 1998 season as clear as day, and y’all won that game 35-33 because Todd Freakin’ Braverman missed another potential game-winning field goal after we recovered an onside kick. Braverman was like Billy Bennett times ten that year. In the bad way. As for that one in Hawaii, the less said, the better.
