I love Thursday. I think it is the greatest day. I only have two classes, and they are my two favorite classes. Friday is really fun too, but on Thursday you have the whole weekend to look forward to, including Friday. And it can be fun to go out on Thursday. If you don’t go out on Thursday, there are lots of fun television shows to watch.
I am impressed with television right now. I am obsessed with the new television show "Lost." It is awesome. Then there is my favorite (kinda) old show – "Scrubs." I love anything that has to do with the hospital. My mom and my aunt are nurses and my uncle and my grandfather are doctors (all my mom’s family). My dad used to take us to the hospital in the morning to eat breakfast with my mom when she would work the night shift. The hospital has the best pancakes – but I always thought it was weird that you had to pay for the syrup. I wanted to be a nurse for a while, but I just couldn’t hack it in science classes. There were so many reasons I wanted to be a nurse. But it just didn’t work out. Instead I had to go to law school.
Well, I didn’t have to go, but it was another option. Law school is more my style of thinking. I like to analyze. I can’t memorize. Plus, if you are a nurse, you have people’s lives in your hands. One of my friends from undergrad who is in medical school at MCG now – I was talking to him about not wanting to have the responsibility of someone else’s life in my hands – and he said that he wanted that responsibility. I can’t imagine. What a crazy person. Not that I don’t admire doctors, but I would think the worst part about it would be the stress of how serious the consequences are if you make a mistake. I also love ER, for the above mentioned reasons.
I think desperate housewives is going to turn out well, but I don’t always have time to watch it and I am a little lost. Okay, that is enough about television – I think I am going to go hang out outside. My parents are in town and I think they might take me out to a yummy dinner. Awesome.
