So….Greece just made it to the finals of the Euro Cup. This is a really big deal, and I just wish I was more up for celebrating. Tomorrow we are going to see all the sites of Homer, and the things he has to talk about (for lines and lines and lines). Then after we see the ruins we are going to go to a greek play in a greek theater. But more importantly, my favorite people in greece are going, and I love them to death. I had my first irish car bomb tonight, and now I am going to sleep. Did I mention that I am in love? With this place. I miss you and I love you and I will be in touch.

Thanks
I am having a wonderful time reading your journal. I have a window in my office, but it looks out on a blank wall. So every once in a while I read your journal and look out the window and see a Greek island instead.
After today I am off to Arizona for almost three weeks to see rocks, cacti, and canyons, so I will have to read the rest of your entries when I get back.
I gave some thought to the prizes. I don’t know if you bring prizes for old folks or just for people you hang out with. But I like food stuff. Or if there are any relics from Paul’s journeys laying around, that would be a cool thing to have in my office — a piece of one of his robes or a hair from his head or a fragment from one of his letters.
Enjoy the rest of your trip.

Turns out Greece won the Euro ’04. I don’t think I’m alone in my expectation a full debriefing on the party.
Things are crazy now that Kate’s in town

Okay, so I have left you two messages about how excited I am that the bar I went to on Saturday night had PAULANER ON TAP!!! I can’t wait for you to come so that we can go there and drink Paulaner all day in big pilsners with lemons that they just give to you without even asking! How great is that? Okay, have fun with Helen and hurry home!!! Miss you and love you!!! – Libby
