I just want to state that I am looking to date a guy who works for statefarm, so when my friends are like, who are you dating, I can just tell them where his billboard is, and they can go check him out themselves. It could also be cool, if people are like, I think i’ve seen you before, and he could be like, do you drive down epps bridge much, I have a billboard. Or, if he went out of town, and I missed him a lot, I could just drive by and see him whenever I wanted to.
I’d say someone in a Sears or Wal-Mart catalog would be a better option. That way, you could say, “I’m dating a model,” and show them off to your firends, but they’d probably be more grounded than people in say, Abercrombie & Fitch. Besides, with State Farm, more often than not, they’re either 45 or have a terrible mustache. It’s usually both.
the highlight of my shopping career was a few years ago when the people at the Abercrombie in Phipps asked me if I needed a job. Not that I wanted to work at abercrombie, I didn’t even live in atlanta, but part of abercrombie’s marketing is to hire people who look like their models, and if they see said person in the store, the manager is suppose to approach the person and offer them a job (I read this in a magazine article about the place, after this incident). Of course, now most of their models are nude, and look about fourteen, so I guess I shouldn’t be too excited. I really want to be asked to model for patagonia, then I would feel truly successful.
